Where is the opportunity?
Ngenium is in need of a Vice President of Sales Operations to oversee all international sales activities and formulate company-wide strategy. The ideal applicant will enjoy working under the direction of our Chief Revenue Officer in a fast-paced environment that places a premium on strategic communication, cooperation, and the achievement of common goals. Best practices within our team and the ability to analyze and solve complex problems are essential for this role. While leading and influencing bigger, cross-divisional teams to accomplish strategic and operational projects, you'll build an effective communication structure and collaboration across the GTM teams, organizational functions, and senior leaders.
So, what exactly will I be doing?
- Improve our pipeline management and bookings projections on a consistent basis
- Construct a realistic, data-driven, and probability-based bookings projection for the company
- Give Sales Managers/Sales Reps and cross-functional teams frequent updates on how sales possibilities are faring in comparison to projections
- Improving customer segmentation/territory management, streamlining the sales process, and pinpointing pain points at each level of the sales funnel are all proven ways to increase sales output
- Key performance indicators (KPIs) should be monitored and analyzed so that areas of weakness may be identified and addressed
- Guide our deal desk to larger, better, and quicker deal execution by implementing best practices for enablement and strategic deal execution, such as responding to requests for proposals and implementing other best practices
- Keep tabs on clients, organize sales agreements, and coordinate department-wide cross-functional efforts
- Collaborate with the Chief Financial Officer and the Financial Planning and Analysis group to develop a billings projection and compensation strategy that supports the strategic objectives of the company
- Collaborate with top sales management to identify areas where optimization and automation can streamline the selling process
- In order to ensure the effectiveness of SPIFF programs, it is essential to maintain their performance, reporting, and contact with participants
- Identifying go-to-market strategies and the capacity to scale up TAM possibilities
- Work with Sales management, Legal, and Finance to expand into untapped sales territories

- Worked previously in a fast-paced, high-growth (30%+ y/y) software industry
- Possesses the expertise and track record to successfully collaborate with sales to drive an upmarket shift
- A history of running high-performing sales operations teams
- Participant who excels in team settings and who has the ability to forge productive partnerships across departments
- Leader that puts thought into their work and takes pleasure in mentoring, instructing, and constructing
