Senior Product Engineer

Where is the opportunity?

You will work as a product engineer at Ngenium, where you will use your technical expertise and expertise in using tools to address real-world challenges for customers. You'll be a member of one of our interdisciplinary product teams, where you'll work closely with designers, product managers, researchers, and data analysts as you construct both back-end and front-end solutions.

Building a beautiful messaging composer, rule matching, deliverability, security, app availability, and machine learning are just a few examples of the many fascinating scaling issues we're experiencing, and we're in the process of creating a solid platform where your knowledge may be put to use.

So, what exactly will I be doing?

• As we grow our products to service tens of millions of users every day, you will be responsible for developing technical plans and making contributions to our technical architecture
• Create Ruby programs that serve as the backbone of Ngenium's server architecture by integrating various AWS, infrastructure, platform, and SaaS technologies
• Send a fix to production on day one, and a feature to users within the first week. Each workday, on average, 100 deployments take place, including that "day one" alteration
• To increase the team's productivity, you should act as a mentor to other engineers and conduct interviews. Here's your opportunity to play a key role in the development of a team from the ground up

What kind of knowledge and abilities do I need?

• Have worked as a software engineer for at least 5 years, ideally in the industry and constructing a software as a service (SaaS) solution. You've made a major contribution to the finished product and/or the success of the team, and you can show it
• Capable of working at a high degree of abstraction in a computer language (for example, Ruby, Python, Javascript etc.) (Don't worry if you don't understand one of our languages. Great individuals, in our opinion, can pick up new skills fast or suggest innovative approaches to our job
• however it need not be a language spoken in this country! Talented individuals are fast to pick up our systems and methods (or introduce us to better ways of working)
• Proven ability to bring value to customers or users while working closely with product teams and designers. Ngenium's engineers are team players that are adept at juggling many tasks at once
• Knowledge of Distributed-system Architectures
