Where is the opportunity?

To ensure that our top-tier leads have no technological roadblocks in place that prevent them from realizing the full potential of Ngenium, it will be your responsibility as Sales Engineer to drive the conversation. In this role, you will be a vital component of the Sales team, primarily working in a Pre-sales environment to guarantee a technical fit and develop new solutions for our clients. Collecting customer references, case studies, and product feedback while also driving onboarding completion, user acceptance, retention, and overall success.

So, what exactly will I be doing?

  • Coordinate efforts with Account Executives to resolve client concerns and close business
  • Participate in leading the discovery process to learn about the prospect's company and the problems it faces
  • Provide business-focused, tailored presentations and demonstrations
  • Collaborate with other members of the Sales team to oversee the execution of Proof of Concepts
  • Make your clients become Ngenium gurus by instructing them on how to get the most out of the software
  • Get to know and verify the technological needs of your clients (Security evaluation, Single Sign On, SAML, Platform Integrations, API usage)
  • Drive initiatives and instruct teams internally

What kind of knowledge and abilities do I need?

  • Experience conducting frequent demos in a sales setting and a minimum of three years in sales engineering or solution consulting in a software as a service (SaaS) company are required
  • Strategic thinking skills for overcoming technological and security barriers
  • Capacity to maintain concentration and excel under stress while assisting clients in resolving complex challenges
  • Knowledge in data integration, particularly RESTful APIs, and proficiency in numerous programming languages is preferred
  • Familiarity and skill in coordinating efforts across international groups
  • Shown ability to generate novel approaches to boosting client retention and product uptake
